Dathao is very professional and honest. She needed to refer me to a specialist for biopsy but needed Dr Bansal’s input but she wasn’t at her desk at the moment. Dathao explained to me and discharged me with the promise that immediately she gets hold of Dr Bansal, she will give me a call to confirm the referral and she did exactly that about 25-30 minutes later. Beyond my expectations. I went for a full body check because my family had a history. Very professional. I have had a really red face for years and thought it was normal. Three months ago, I went to another practice to have a few pre-cancerous growths on the top of my head treated. The dermatologist sprayed the entire top of my head and a lot of my face with liquid nitrogen – 1st and probably 2nd degree “burns” all over. Horribly painful, scabbing, bleeding, itchy, pus-y! My primary got an emergency appointment with Dr. Bansal. She spent plenty of time with me, explained that the other doctor had me on incorrect medication, treated me and put me on correct meds. Although I’m still not totally “cured” – and probably never will be – I’m sure without her treatment, I would be in a lot worse shape. Thank you, Dr. Bansal!

Our family of three has been extremely satisfied patients at Dr. Bansal’s Medical & Aesthetic Dermatology clinic for well over a decade (since she first opened in a different location, in fact!). The new-ish, expanded clinic is immaculate, has free wi-fi access (the building is in a dead zone for AT&T and Verizon), ample parking, and more importantly: sports outstanding front desk staff, two physicians, a nurse practitioner, a RN, and multiple PAs. The clinic offers a wide variety of services and informational sessions. My 18 year old daughter still speaks often of how thrilled and happy she is that PA-C Brooke Bennett worked with her years ago to get her skin cleared up following the onset of menustration – unlike so many of her friends, DD has perfect skin!! Our sole complaint is the quality and size of the paper gowns provided: they tear at the slightest touch, the shoulder seams do not stay glued together, the plastic tie is too short and has to be stretched to function, and if you weigh more than 130 pounds the pieces don’t overlap. Highly recommend bringing in your own flat bedsheet for modesty’s sake when coming in for a whole body scan.

Rebecca Bower, PA is the ONLY dermatologist that I trust with my skin. As an African American man I have extremely sensitive skin. I’ve seen other dermatologist in the Columbia md area and one of them damaged my skin terribly with her chemical peel. However with the patience and trust of Rebecca, she started slowly and a year later my face look better then it has been for years. I get so many compliments on how sexy and handsome I look now.

I greatly appreciated the care received for my skin issues and the thoroughness of the body scan. The appointment was on time and my needs were quickly met. This office had friendly, positive staff. The office offers optional treatments, but at no time did I feel I received a sales pitch or pressure of any sort. Dermatology offices can be quite hit or miss. I started taking my 1 year old here due to her sensitive skin — white blotches of discoloration all over her body and some rashes. I wanted to see a dermatologist experienced in young children as her pediatrician couldn’t do much. Julia (Juan) Liu has been such a helpful part of figuring out what will help my daughter’s skin and how to take care of the blotches to eventually have it disappear. I was seen by Brooke Bennet on Sept 5, 2018 for an evaluation of possible fungal and/or bacterial infections on my feet. Ms Bennet’s examination was thorough, including giving me feedback during her assessment, which included taking samples from under my toenails and scraping skin along the outside of my left ankle. In addition to providing me with a prescription for a topical cream, Ms Bennet suggested using a white vinegar/water solution in which to soak my toes. Lastly, she called me with the results of the lab work and suggested a different cream for optimal success in treating what was determined to be fungal in nature. I am very satisfied with the care and service Ms Bennet provided.

Dr. Bansal removed a cyst for me and did a great job from start to finish. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time during the procedure. She did a great job stiching the incision and you can hardly see where it was done. The office is bright and clean and all of the staff were friendly and helpful as was Dr. Bansal.
